New Years

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

I trace the years

in one night stands,

Faces forgotten

and falling in love,

One Long Island iced tea,

too many vodka crans,

The day I gave it up,

the years I kept going,

Steep behind me,

I’m going up & far away.
