While a literary magazine, Iceblink’s objective is to create an inclusive platform for diverse voices within our modern age. From poetry relating to diaspora and identity, to experimentation in writing format, here readers will find a magazine that allows new writers to be seen and heard. While we had moved the deadline from the team’s prior June 7 release, we’re glad to see that we can continue sending out the latest issue to the public.
With issue 6 finally making its debut, we now have a new group of volunteers for the upcoming issue too! Under Iceblink’s masthead, Jina, the team will go full steam ahead with issue 7 after the latest submissions have been released, where writers can submit their pieces once again to be part of the magazine. If you have poetry, nonfiction, short stories, or any other genre piece ready, the magazine will gladly consider it.
The rules remain the same:
You can submit up to 3 pieces per issue, but each should be 3,000 words or fewer.
All genres and themes are considered.
Previously submitted works aren’t allowed, however, works submitted through social media are fine.
Submissions must include a short biography of who you are, which can include name, age, your favorite books, or even if you’ve submitted before.
Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please notify us if you have been chosen.
On more information on specifics and requirements, click on our Submissions page here. Hope to see you there on issue 6’s release!
